HR Manager Role Now Required to Access SimpleStaff™
Our SimpleStaff™ application is where job postings and job applications now live. To bolster security, we are making some changes that will be a pain in the short-term but are necessary.

Because HR data security is paramount, CMS security roles (like SuperAdmin) should have ZERO ACCESS or affect whether an employee can access job applicant information.

Just because a user may have CMS SuperAdmin rights, that won't grant them any HR privileges.
Today we are implementing a security lock that was always part of the plan for SimpleStaff™.

Here is how it will work:

• HR Managers are granted an "HR MANAGER" role from EvoGov's Staff ONLY.

• This role CANNOT be granted by an IT person or CMS SuperAdmin.

• SuperAdmins (IT Folks) will be LOCKED OUT of the SimpleStaff™ application on purpose due the sensitive nature of job applications.

• Once a CMS Form is used as a job application intake form and is linked to job postings, it will become LOCKED FOR HR MANAGERS ONLY to access. This also includes the submissions data behind the form as well.

• Form submissions for job applications will be continue to be captured as they always have been forms, but Only HR MANAGERS can see and export that data, and the data is preserved as a data backup only - Applicants should be managed in the SimpleStaff™ application itself.
