ADA System Updates

• All customers, even basic level using EvoAccess Essentials now get an ADA site score in their websites.
• AXECORE (the standard our content scanner tests against for content pages) has been upgraded to the latest version. This will lower our calculated ADA scores on some websites because it enforces color contrast values more strictly.

PDF Cleaner Updates

• PDFs locked with a password or locked from editing get a new error message and are quarantined.
• VeraPDF upgraded to latest point-version - this is the scanner for the toughest PDF verification.
• Some Canva Fonts saved into PDFs were causing errors in validations - created a new mechanism for those to be remediated.
• “An invisible OCR text layer left stray characters that confuse screen readers.” - fix for this violation added to the cleaner - Smart Cleanup: name blank .notdef glyphs as spaces (PDFUA-7.21.8.1 on print-driver PDFs).
